30 day challenge in 30 days doesn't work

I was sure that I'd get the trophy even though many other people complained about this trophy being unattainable.

Defective Sensor

I ordered the accessory pack through EA in the mail so my wife and I could work out together. It came this week, but the leg sensor was defective.......the blue light would not come on when I hit the button, and after a change of batteries it still would not work. I emailed EA and they sent me a reply telling me how to get my wii remote to work....I chatted with someone today from EA support and they told me to contact Nintendo............they clearly did not understand the product and the fact I purchased the product from EA...any suggestions?|||Does the blue light come on at all, or does it blink?
If the blue light doesn't come on at all, your peripheral may be damaged. I would suggest to return it back to the store for an exchange (or EA Store if you got it there).

tricep kickbacks don't register with 9 wk workout

after 2 into the 9 week workout, the triceps kickback, and cross over fly will not register as being done. I have changed the batteries in my wii remote, restarted the game and tried again. but when I get to those particular exercises they will not register any of my movements. I have adjusted the way I hold the remote, shaken it, held it still but nothing works. I do the exercises and have to skip them in the program. they worked fine up until today?
Any ideas?|||Triceps Kickbacks should be very reliable, but only if the peripherals (especially the heart rate monitor on your left arm) needs to be on correctly. Please check out the FAQ under the Feedback and Settings page, it has a section on the issue you are experiencing:

WII Active 2 - Do I need to hold controller while using bands or dumbbells

I own Active and am considering purchasing Active 2 for the WII but am hesitant if the weight training (bands/dumbbell) exercises still require one hand to hold the WII controller. It is really impossible to use heavy bands or dumbbells and still handle the controller. Is this still the case with Active 2 on the WII?
Thanks,
Rick|||Rick, no, you don't need to hold the Wii remote while doing band or weight exercises. This is a huge plus for me because the Wii/nunchuck setup made some movements difficult. I am using 5 or 8 pound hand weights and Active 2 is working great for me. I never found bands that gave me enough freedom.
You will still use the Wii remote for a few exercises following hand movements, like basketball shooting or soccer goalie. But it is needed in only a small number of exercises each day.
However, the Wii remote seems to lose contact with the Wii if it sits unused for many minutes. So I usually pick mine up between every few exercises wave it for a sec and put it down.|||this is not true - there is at least one exercise (on the Wii) that requires you to hold the Wiimote and a dumbbell/band at the same time in the same hand. It's one of the arm exercises (I can't remember which right now) and it is a HUGE hassle to try to do this! It was one of the last days in "phase 1" of the 90 day challenge.

Sudden headache during a workout ...

Well, it wasn't really sudden, I had a bit of a headache all day, in the right temple. When I was doing something fairly extreme cardiowise in Active 2, the headache really throbbed. Ouch. First time that has ever happened.
I went ahead and finished the full workout, complaining all the way. It definitely took the fun out of it. The headache lingered afterward, more or less the way it was before, not really too noticeable.
Anyone think this is something to worry about?
My wife says it has happened to her before during a workout. I did a workout today and no problem.|||No, don't worry about it. I get them from time to time. Were you working at a computer all day or playing a video game? You can get them from that as well. Perfectly normal.|||Sometimes getting your blood really pumping will help a headache but if they blood vessels are already dilated it just makes it hurt more. I don't think it's anything to worry about.|||I had to quit a workout when my muscles tensed up doing split squats a couple weeks ago. My shoulder muscles and the muscles in my head (suboccitals, I think) tightened up and caused a bad headache. One thing that I might not have been doing was to activate my core and lats before doing the movement. I've had those squats since then and I make sure to feel like I'm squeezing a pencil between my lower shoulders, that should engage the lats and keep the upper shoulder muscles out of it.

Leg Band will not sync (PS3)

Frustrated... I am on my third product and am encountering the same issue. The leg band works for several workouts then will no longer sync. I tried going the Help/Rebanding on the main menu and it still does not recognize (sensor on leg band just flashes). Any ideas?

Open letter to EA Sports Sales Prevention Team

Frustration Level = 10
My puppy chewed up my right arm sensor for EA Active 2 for my Playstation 3 and I'm trying to replace it. I can't find it on the EA website. It's difficult to even find the correct name of the component. Is it the "wireless motion sensor peripheral/ right arm"? Is it available individually or do I have to buy the entire EA Active 2 again?
Why would a retail company make it so difficult for people to find and purchase their products?
I'm not a happy camper at the moment and I would love to hear a rational explanation.
- H|||Don't think you can buy the HRM seperately, http://store.origin.com/store/ea/en_US/pd/productID.182641500/sac.true. Think of it this way, if your puppy chews the leg strap or the other Arm Moniter, you'll have a back-up.
Or if you can find the game on Amazon, you can get it if it is cheaper than buying the accessory pack.
NotThePest|||Thanks so much for the help, particularly the link. I placed the order through Origin.
Before I saw your post I tried a Google search, Best Buy, Frys and Amazon. It's frustrating to type in one thing and get search returns that are something else entirely. Wrong way to raise the blood pressure.
