Wiimote in waistband for lunges and squats

I have had so much trouble with the "hold still" (or is it "stand still"?) crap when doing alternate lunges, lunges with high knees, and squats, that I finally stuck the wiimote in my waistband (wearing spandex shorts) to try to stabilize it. It works great! I can actually do alternate lunges better because I'm not trying to negotiate the wiimote with the stupid strap (yes I'm thinking wireless too) while I'm using my arms for balance. It obviously doesn't work when you have to point to the floor (such as the side lunges with toe touch), but on the other exercises it's much more productive because all my energy is focused on getting the exercise right.|||Interesting! I'll have too try that.|||This is why I appreciate the forums, you can get ideas and tips from other's who are having issues with the exercises. I began to get frustrated with doing the lunges for the same reason. I also learned today that when you change the work out intensity between easy, medium, or hard within the 30 day challenge, there are other exercises to try. I added an extra 30 mins. to today's challenge.|||Do you mean just by changing your intensity level, it added 30 minutes to your workout? I workout before I go to work, and I figure however long the workout says it is, I have to double the time to allow for all the "hold still" and repeats plus I'll pause to get a drink of water and such. I haven't done "hard" yet. I thought it would just be more reps, but it sounds like it includes additional exercises that low and medium don't have? Is this correct?
