Hi EA,
I'm hoping to get a response from you if available. I was shopping yesterday and noticed that EASA 2.0 Accessories are out now...although they specifically stated "Works on all 3 platforms" or however you worded it, there was also, if I remember correctly, a Wii specific Step Board and Wii specific dumb weights.
Are all of these accessories going to work w/ the 360 version? I seen the following:
Jump Rope, 3 set of resistance bands, dumb weights, weighted gloves and the step board. I'm hoping these are going to be available at release day but I guess I can wait. Thanks for any information.|||Are you talking about the heart rate monitor and motion sensors required to get an additional person to exercise with in EA Active 2? It sounds more like some kind of kit filled with some generic exercise equipment. Where did you see these and what was the pricing? There hasn't been any confirmation of the pricing of additional sensor kits.|||No these are like...accessories to the games. Not the motion sensors nor the heart rate monitor. I actually opened the gloves box and there are 2 gloves in there, each with a 1lb weight inside (I'm guessing it's for the punching bag excercise as well as who knows what else). The boxes all said EA Active Sports 2.0, not just EASA. They also had a label that said something along the lines of "Works on All 3 Platforms".
This is definitely what is coming out, we have a local store called Meijer which is like a Walmart...these were the prices if I recall correctly:
Jump Rope - $10
Resistance Bands (3, labeled light, medium and heavy) - $15
Weighted Gloves (slot for wiimote under one of the gloves) - $20
Step Board - Looked like it was Wii specific but could be for cross platforms - $10
Dumb Weights - Had a slot in them for the Wiimote - $15
I'd like EA to confirm it and if there is anything else that is coming out and if these are going to be out tomorrow |||http://www.bestbuy.com/site/EA+Sports+-+EA+Sports+Active+2+Fitness+Bundle+Kit/1283886.p?id=1218246663939&skuId=1283886&*=ea%20active&cp=1&lp=8
You might be thinking of this. Looks like some resistance bands (that are notoriously bad!), a pair of 1lb weights, a mat, and a jump rope.
If you don't have a lot of this stuff, maybe it'll be nice to get. You can probably get some better quality stuff for a little bit more money though.|||Hmm no all that stuff is different...I wonder how much stuff they are making.
Actually the gloves since they are the only thing I really looked at were so much better quality than any of these:

I like the black and orange theme, so I'm sticking with their branded stuff. Thanks for the suggestions though.
Ah I found the gloves on another site...check it out!

They are sweet man
Edit: Also here's the bands...see what I mean how they are like...for Wii, but then contradict it and say works for all platforms....this is so confusing, and I'd like EA to clear it up all up.

I purchased the weighted boxing gloves, the ankle/wrist weights, the push up bars and the resistance bands.
When is the other stuff coming out for xbox?
