Does this sound like too much?

Basically, three days of the week I do workouts with free weights. I did this before buying EA Sports Active, but now that I have it, I do the same workouts and do core/cardio workouts for about 30 minutes three times a week also...different days usually.
It's helped alot, but apparently some family members are showing concern that I may be overdoing it.
Sometimes I do have low energy and oversleep, making it harder to keep up but I don't think thats from working out.|||Everyone's body is different so your family would think I am absolutely mad. I workout per week, even before EASA, 8 plus hours.
As a type II diabetic, I found out through trial and error, I needed to cover the equivalent of 35/40 miles per week walking, fast walking, exercising (I have access to a WEB site that converts my activity to steps/miles). But if I want optimum benefits, I need to do between 50 & sixty miles per week.
I'm reading through a research/medical text book called, The Handbook of Exercise in Diabetes. One of the chapters/research study I'm studying now (this is my second go 'round) on exercise prescription states that a 2,000 calorie burn per week, with 1,000 of those calories coming from aerobic activity, is the optimum for keeping blood glucose numbers in check, as well as preventing heart disease and strokes from the complication of diabetes. In reality they state a minimum of 700 to 2,000 with 2,000 being the goal to aim for. Anything over 2,000 has not discernible benefits for a diabetic. I probably burn between 1,200 to 1,700 per week.
You may not be getting enough sleep, which has its own issues. Are you smaller than the rest of your family members? I find that the greatest sabotage to one's exercise goals is other folks sharing the same DNA. I went from 170 plus to 135 at 5'3" and I am being told I'm too skinny. On the BMI scale 135 is at the upper limits of Normal.|||My size is sort of a mix within the family. Mom's side...I'm taller and more muscular. On my dad's side I'm kind of a runt, lol.
Overall though most of my family members are overweight except for a few. Me and my half bro, mom and dad are not.
Aside from the sleep issues, I tend to have general fatigue. I am starting to think my eating habits are a big factor.
After reading what you do, I'm not so sure it's my workout schedule, lol. (Congrats on your level of intensity!)
Perhaps the problem lies elsewhere.
