I have a problem with certain exercises like lunges and squats because of my bad back and my weight.
I have managed to customize a workout that works all the muscle groups and gives me cardio. I can easily "up the ante" as I get better.
I have always had a problem with going to the gym simply because I hate feeling like a zoo specimen. I don't know where fat guys go to get in shape but it isn't the gym!
Active rocks! I look forward to my workouts.|||That's a great way to get started. As you workout and lose some weight maybe you'll be able to add some of the ordinary lunges to your workout. The jump squats and jump lunges are killers for just about everyone! It's great to be able to workout in your own home and Active offers a great variety of things to do.|||Another trick to try if you get into an exercise that is too hard for you (I have problems with the squat and hold) is to do what you can of it and then hit the pause button (+). One of the options it gives you is to skip the rest of the exercise.
